NuSPRASEN workshop

December 6th, 2016 - CERN-ISOLDE, Switzerland

Dear colleague,

with this message we would like to announce a NUSPRASEN workshop, which will be organized as a satellite of the annual ISOLDE Workshop and Users  meeting. It will take place on the afternoon of December 6th, 2016, at CERN in Geneva and address experimental and theoretical nuclear structure, nuclear reactions and nuclear astrophysics.

NUSPRASEN is the physics network within ENSAR-2, which aims at raising synergies between the various ENSAR-2 work packages, its transnational access facilities and their users. It will stimulate the information exchange among the ENSAR-2 partners and the present workshop will contribute to optimize the exploitation of the (HIE-)ISOLDE facility.

The workshop will take place at the CERN Council Chamber (503-1-001), it will start at 1 p.m. and end around 6 p.m. We expect around 12 invited presentations (20...25 minutes) and about 4 contributed talks (15 minutes). The workshop will be concluded with a short open discussion.

Participation and contributions of young scientists are encouraged; a limited budget for financial support is available.

To participate in this NUSPRASEN workshop, please register via .

To apply for a contributed talk, please submit (by November 6th at the latest) an abstract via the workshop web page

If you would like to attend the ISOLDE Workshop as well, please also register via

Best regards, the Organizing Committee

(M.Borge, Z.Fülop, S.Lenzi, R.Raabe, C.Scheidenberger, L.Trache, J.Weterings)
